San Francisco City Hall, opened in 1915, rents its spaces for private weddings and events through the City Hall Events Office, overseen by the Office of the City Administrator. Spaces include the Rotunda and Grand Staircase under the 306-foot dome, the Mayor's Balcony, the Fourth Floor North Gallery, and the North and South Light Courts. One-hour weddings for up to 100 guests run weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Two-hour Rotunda weddings for up to 200 guests are on Saturdays at 9 a.m. or noon. Evening weddings and private events can host up to 499 guests on any day except Tuesday. Couples must use pre-approved vendors for all wedding and event services. Published starting prices are $1,200 for a one-hour package, $6,000 for a two-hour package and $12,000 for evening weddings.
