About
Oakland Museum of California presents its Garden as a setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions beside Lake Merritt. The 21,300-square-foot Garden lists capacities of 900 standing, 700 for a seated meal, or 300 for a ceremony with seated meal; other rentable spaces include Peace Terrace, Town Fare, James Moore Theater and the Lillie Education Center. The museum describes outdoor celebrations, intimate toasts and customized reception details, with native California landscaping, sculpture and Lake Merritt views. The wedding page says every couple receives a Museum membership; specific rental prices are not listed on the page.
